The Zombie Survival Guide
In Brooks Max's fiction entitled, " The Zombie Survival Guide" he suggests that your home is the best place to be in . Also how to make it safe. Brooks claims that preparing your house is better than going out trying to look for somewhere safe. For example he says that fences are good for to protect the zombies to getting into your house , to keep it away for a week or months. Incase you live in a apartment is that you should go up stairs and to be there and knock down the stairs so no zombie can get up. The authors next proceeds to show that the supplies are important aswell to stay alive. He says you will need guns and a lot of accesories for the gun , silencer , buletts, food , water , etc....Finally the authors says how to survive an Zombie attack. To practise in your backyard also to be ready incase if a zombie gets to close to you and you have a gun to be prepared if anything happens. Brooks's purpose is that he shows how to make your house safe and how to be prepared. In order to survive in a zombie sitution, and to be safe in your own home. Brooks says "Your worries are far from over." Be safe!

LITERATURE ANALYSIS #2(extra credit)
In the book Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi I learn that there is always that you don't like about the government or how the state are running things around, I find this ironic. The theme for this book I think is drama, because too many things happen in Iran where Marjane the main character lives and is from. When we had the chance to vote what book we had to choose we chose this one. This book got my attention because it had small panels with pictures and because the way the book was about. When I started reading this book the first pages were pretty interesting so i kind of started to like this book. I find this book very realistic because i know that in Iran is strict about the laws they have. I made connections about the past how they didn't have freedom or how they could be around this kind of be the same thing as Iran. The tone of this book is deaths, sadness , and Ironic. This book does kind of have literary elements which is foreshadowing on when she thinks back how Iran was before she left. Another is foreshadowing when she finds out they took her uncle to jail and about to be executed.
The character is brave and kind of dumb. At first she is a nice going girl then when she grows up , she becomes a naughty lady. Also after that she goes back on being a good lady and started to get her education better. The character is dynamic because she grows to be smarter and brave at what she is doing. From the beginning the character Marjane was a different character but at the end of the book she has changed and i feel like a met a different character.
Two ideas from this book is to take precaution and be loyal. My two idea is to be smart on doing something and have courage to do something that is good. I will remember this for a long time because you never know what can happen or what could be the new law. My importance is to be nice to the one who owns the country because if you don't you could get consequences. Also don't do something against the law.

Argumentative Essay
Johan Bennett thinks the novel Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi should be banned from the public schools, but it shouldn't! This book is great. Also it shows Iran people’s life, and because it shows the right and bad way to live life. Schools should not be banning this great book!
One reason that Persepolis should not be banned is because it shows real life. For example when Marjane goes through a melancholy stage in life. She goes through deaths of her relatives (70.1). This is important because students will get how life can be and learn something from it. Also when she saw violence with her own eyes. This important because no matter what happen, Marjane kept her life going. It is clear that I showed real life experience.
Another reason why schools shouldn't banned Persepolis is because students might want to know how people's life are in Iran. This book Is great for that. They could find what they need, also compare it to their life. They could know how life struggle works out with no freedom and decisions to leave, to get the freedom you want(153.3). This is important because it shows the way ,to be better, or having to leave for the brighter side of the world. Additionally to know what's good and bad(151.3). This is important because students could think that their life is not that bad. It is clear that people would want to know how life in Iran can be.
Some people would argue to ban Persepolis. It is true that she did bad things in life.Nevertheless, she is a teenager and does dumb things like every teenager, and doesn't know what they're doing. This is important because it shows how students action could be and teachers and parents could teach them to do good. Therefore, this book is a guide for them.
My final reason is that schools should not banned Persepolis is because it shows the wrong way to live and how to live life. For example Marjane made a mistake but then did the right thing after she try committing suicide(273.8). This is important because the students would think twice before doing what's not good. Also is that there is always challenges in life but she kept going on with her life and began to study and went back to school(341.3). This is important because students would know to do good in life and to not give up. It's clear that it shows the bad and right way to live life.
This book is great! Persepolis shows real life experience, shows iran people's life , and shows right and bad way to live life. Schools should learn real life experience in this book as well, in that case this book shouldn't be banned from schools.

Literature Analysis # 2
In the book The Lost Star by H.M Hoover i learn there is always something to be scare of i find this ironic. Lian discovers some creatures that she hasn’t never seen in her life also she gets scared and this took place in the wild where there is wild animals too or creatures that people haven’t seen only heard about it in stories. A young scientist . smart but questioning her place in universe.A crash on an extra-terrestrial. Also the things she sees is not the same as what she knows. This book is science fiction. I think the author did this kind of them on the character to make her stand out and what she does on her young age. I think the author chose to write about this because it brings attention to readers.I chose this book because the summary on the back brought my attention. the first 2 pages were interesting so i kept on reading this book. I didn’t find the book realistic because it talks about extra-terrestrial. Yes i made connections on the static character because she is brave and willing to do anything. To get what she wants. The author’s tone is science, deaths, and man vs creature. This book has literary elements was foreshadowing on page 94, flashbacks on page 67, ironic when she see lands close to the extra-terrestrial, and thats pretty much it of the elements.
The character is brave and smart. At first she is cared and then when she gets the hang of it she gets used to it and doesn’t get scared that much. The character is dynamic because she grows to be smarter and brave at what she is doing. From the beginning the character Lian was a different character but at the end of the book she has changed and i feel like a met a different character.
Two ideas from this book is to take precaution and be safe. My two idea is to be smart on doing something and have courage to do something that is good as well. Also i will remember this for a long time because you need these ideas to be in a good life. My importance is that never stop trying on being good in life and to try something new. I mean a lot of people may have courage that other people don’t have and they could be smart or could study on being smart that way you could know alot of things that most people don’t know.

Persepolis Essay
Persepolis
Johan Bennett thinks the novel Persepolis by Marjane Satrap should be banned from the public
schools. He thinks it should be banned because it contains suicide, sex, drugs, deaths, and killing in this
book. In my opinion is that he don't know how their life might be like. Sooner or later the students are
going to realize how life really. (9,6). This book is a great book to read!
For example they might grow older and start getting how things are in life. They might have the
knowledge to know how things are by the age they read this. It could prepare them if they have to
struggle in life making something out of their life. Also they might have already been through what the
book is saying about the author's life. Also the real world is full of people judging, talking crap, and
bulling.
Another example is that what if they want to know how people's life are in Iran. This book is
great for that. They could find what they need, also compare it to their life. They could know how
things work out. On page 53, panel 9 you could see how god was there to help and they might do the
same. To know whats good and bad.
Finally is that the book shows how not to live life. Also there is challenges in life and this helps on
how learn from the mistakes she made. To never give up even though thing don't come the way you
want it. Struggle is real and it happens to everyone. This shows the right way to be in life.
So this book shouldn't be ban. Bennett showed good reasons, but then kids don't stay kids they
grow fast. Also they will get how life can be a struggle. I personally think that this book is great to
read! In that case it should not be banned.

LITERATURE ANALYSIS #1
This book is called Trouble Times Ten the author is David Lamber. This book is fiction and based in Egypt. There is this one kid named Ben every other kid would pick on him and would use other animals to scare him with. One time they were scaring him of water cause they knew he was scared of water, a lot. He was scared of the other kids as well that why he never did something bad. When one of the kids went to the ocean somehow he got to the middle of it and from there he was drowing and ben had this gift that the god gave him. All of a sudden her goes into the ocean and gets the other kid and he goes to the the beach.
From there the kid's dad was so proud of Ben and he was thanking Ben for what he just did. In my opinion the author is trying to prove us to not pick on people , cause they could end up doing something better than you. This book is pretty good to read because it shows good and bad things like every book obviously. I learn that small things could end up being big in someway.(116pg)

Antigone and Creon Essay final
In Antigone by Sophodes is a bit of
messed up. Creon thinks Antigone is doing the wrong thing of burying her
brother. Conflicts between the characters are the results of battle their
similarity and their difference.
Antigone is different than Creon
because Antigone is loyal to the family. Also that would be nice for her family.
A quote for Antigone is that she says “this crime is holy.”(2.59). This means
she is brave. Also she is caring for her brother. Also loyal to the gods. In scene
1 Antigone got blamed for burying her brother. Antigone got blamed because his
body supposed to be there and not buried. In the other hand Creon is loyal to
the states. Creon says “And death it is, yet money talks and the wisest. Have sometimes
been known to count a few coins too many.”(1.62). This quote means money over
everything. He is not loyal to family. In scene 3, Creon says all this things
about no woman shall seduce us. He’s thinking that men have to stand out more.
There are many difference between them.
The similarities between Antigone
and Creon are that they are both prideful. Antigone says “I do, I deny nothing.”(1.69).
This demonstrates pride because she saying the truth and not afraid. The paraphrase
is that she is not scared and she is brave. She will do anything that is the
right thing for her. In the other hand Creon says “and yet you dared defy the
law.”(2.64). This shows that Creon is prideful because, Creon is honest and
expects to get the truth as well and Creon is not scared by saying “dared to
defy the law.” Those are the similarity
for them.
Antigone don’t deserve to be
punished for nothing, she was just burying her brother. Although Creon should
get punished for not letting go, of Antigone burying her brother. Although she
is not scared of getting blame for a “crime of holy.” The outcome of the play
was alright. It was true because no one gets blame for a crime like that.
